Community Coffees
Leadership Winston-Salem’s Community Coffees are informal gatherings, highlighting small businesses coffee shops, designed to foster casual conversation and connection among alumni and community members. Open to the public and held in a relaxed setting, these morning meetups provide a space for participants to engage in meaningful dialogue about local issues, share ideas, and network with a diverse group of professionals and civic leaders. Community Coffees offer a chance to stay informed on current events, build relationships, and learn more about opportunities to get involved in Winston-Salem’s ongoing development and Leadership Winston-Salem.
Wine Down Wednesdays
For alumni and community members alike, Wine Down Wednesdays are a great way to get together with LWS alumni and to meet new people! Held once a month, these are relaxing business after-hours events where you can enjoy great food, drinks and conversation. Community Conversation
The Community Conversation is a forum designed to bring together diverse voices from across the city to discuss critical local issues. These events invite community members, alumni, and local leaders to engage in open dialogue around topics that shape the future of Winston-Salem. Past topics include education, equity, economic development, and public health. Through facilitated discussions, participants share perspectives, learn from one another, and explore solutions that foster positive change. The Community Conversation encourages collaborative thinking and community-driven action, helping to strengthen Winston-Salem’s civic fabric.
